1. Account Types and Login

  • FP Markets provides demo and live accounts.
  • MT4/MT5 login: enter account number, password, select server (Live: FPMarketsLLC-Live; Demo: FPMarketsLLC-Demo).
  • If login fails, check credentials, remove extra spaces, and reset password via client portal if necessary.

2. Passwords and Security Settings

  • Password requirements: at least 8 characters, including 1 uppercase letter, 1 number, and 1 symbol (! @ # $ % ^ &).
  • Set a read-only password: Tools → Options → Server → Change → enter read-only password → confirm.
  • Regularly update passwords and enable two-step verification for enhanced security.

3. Account Security and Unusual Activity

  • If unauthorized login occurs: immediately contact support, suspend withdrawals, and change portal password, trading account password, and registered email.
  • Negative balance protection ensures your account balance cannot fall below zero.
  • Personal data and passwords are encrypted to prevent unauthorized access.

4. Client Fund Management

  • Client funds are stored in segregated accounts at independent banks, separate from company operating funds.
  • Deposits: instant (domestic); international wire: 1–15 business days.
  • FP Markets charges no deposit fees; deposits over USD 10,000 can be reimbursed up to USD 50 for bank fees.
  • Withdrawals: FP Markets charges no fees, third-party bank fees may apply.

5. Inactive Accounts and Fees

  • Inactive accounts may incur management fees.
  • Demo accounts expire after 90 days of inactivity and cannot be reactivated.

6. Updating Account Information

  • Email, phone number, and password can be updated via the client portal.
  • Investment knowledge and trading experience are collected to assess suitability and comply with regulations.

7. Deposits and Inter-Broker Transfers

  • Funds can be transferred from other brokers to FP Markets:
    1. Complete the “Inter-Broker Transfer Form.”
    2. Use the bank information provided to initiate the transfer.
    3. Send the completed form to service@fpmarkets.com.cn to ensure proper follow-up.
