1. Registration & Verification

1️⃣ How long does it take to open an account?

Typically, once all required documents are submitted correctly, your account will be approved within 1 business day.


2️⃣ What documents are required for a personal account?

Requirements vary by region:

  • Mainland China residents: ID card
  • Hong Kong/Macau residents:
    • Proof of identity (passport or ID card)
    • Proof of address (bank statement or utility bill within 6 months)

3️⃣ Why do I need to submit verification documents?

Document verification is required to:

  • Comply with global financial regulations (KYC/AML)
  • Protect your account security
  • Prevent fraud and identity theft

2. Account Usage

4️⃣ Can I register multiple accounts with different email addresses?

No.
At FP Markets, each user can register only one account with one email address.


5️⃣ Can I open multiple trading accounts?

Yes.
You may open up to 10 live or demo trading accounts under one profile.


6️⃣ Can I start with a demo account?

Yes.
A demo account is recommended for beginners to practice trading without risk.


7️⃣ What account types are available?

Two main account types are offered:

  • Standard Account
  • RAW Account (tight spreads)

8️⃣ Do I need to re-submit documents when opening additional accounts?

No.
Once your profile is verified, you do not need to submit documents again for additional trading accounts.


3. Account Management & Security

9️⃣ Can I update my personal information?

Yes:

  • Address update: Log in → “Profile” → “Update Address”
  • Identity update: Submit documents via official support email

🔟 What should I do if I forget my password?

Click “Forgot Password” on the login page and follow the instructions.


1️⃣1️⃣ How do I log in to the client portal?

You can log in using your registered email or phone number.


4. Fees & Account Status

1️⃣2️⃣ Is there an inactivity fee?

Yes.
If your account:

  • Has been inactive for 3 months, and
  • Has a balance above USD 10

A fee of USD 10 per month will be charged.


1️⃣3️⃣ How can I close my account?

Steps:

  1. Ensure balance is zero
  2. Back up important data
  3. Log in → “Profile”
  4. Click “Request Account Closure” and confirm

⚠️ All data will be permanently deleted after closure.


5. Corporate Accounts

You typically need:

  • Certificate of incorporation
  • Director identification documents
  • Shareholder information

Complete the online registration form and submit required documents for verification.
