How to Add / Hide Trading Instruments

Adjusting the displayed instruments helps you optimize the trading interface, improve operational efficiency, and reduce system resource usage.
1. Adding Instruments

- In MetaTrader 4 (MT4) or MetaTrader 5 (MT5), right-click on any instrument in the Market Watch window
- There are two ways to display instruments:
- Show All: Display all available instruments
- Via Symbols list: Open the Symbols window and select the instruments you want to display

- Check the instruments you wish to show
- Click Show at the top right corner
- Click Close to complete
2. Hiding Instruments

- In the Market Watch window, right-click on an instrument
- There are two ways to hide instruments:
- Hide All: Remove all displayed instruments
- Hide: Remove only the selected instrument

You can also use the Symbols list to hide instruments:
- Right-click on any instrument → Symbols
- Select the instruments you want to hide → Click Hide
- Click Close to finish
Tips
- Displaying only frequently traded instruments can improve efficiency and reduce search time.
- Showing inactive or unused instruments may consume extra system resources; it is recommended to display only the instruments you trade regularly.
- This operation does not affect your actual tradable instruments, only the interface display.
