How to Add / Hide Trading Instruments

Adjusting the displayed instruments helps you optimize the trading interface, improve operational efficiency, and reduce system resource usage.

1. Adding Instruments

In MetaTrader 4 (MT4) or MetaTrader 5 (MT5), right-click on any instrument in the Market Watch window
There are two ways to display instruments:
- Show All: Display all available instruments
- Via Symbols list: Open the Symbols window and select the instruments you want to display

Check the instruments you wish to show
Click Show at the top right corner
Click Close to complete

2. Hiding Instruments

In the Market Watch window, right-click on an instrument
There are two ways to hide instruments:
- Hide All: Remove all displayed instruments
- Hide: Remove only the selected instrument

You can also use the Symbols list to hide instruments:

Right-click on any instrument → Symbols
Select the instruments you want to hide → Click Hide
Click Close to finish

Tips

Displaying only frequently traded instruments can improve efficiency and reduce search time.
Showing inactive or unused instruments may consume extra system resources; it is recommended to display only the instruments you trade regularly.
This operation does not affect your actual tradable instruments, only the interface display.
